QSC GX7 is a 1,000 Power Amplifier featuring GuardRail™ that is useful for protection against overloads. Lightweight and optimised for 4-ohm and 8-ohm speakers, it also has subwoofer/satellite crossover built-in features. The GX7 also adds the road-proven PowerLight supply to the Class H output section, for more overall output power and additional weight savings.

QSC GX7 is designed for maximum performance and portability which is ideal for those with a limited budget without compromising the quality of sound.
Its prominent feature is the GuardRail™ protection that can produce full peak power while preventing detrimental overloads. It is during excessive clipping, or extreme overheating, that GuardRail will minimise gain just enough to preserve the integrity of the music while protecting the speakers without unprofessional distortion levels or shutdowns.
Weighing only 15.5 lbs or 7 kgs, it is optimised for maximum possible power to 4-ohm and 8-ohm loads. Owners of popular 4-ohm loudspeakers (dual-woofer, two-way models, and many subwoofers) will find the GX7 very powerful because it provides 1,000 watts of dependable, safe power!
Front panel LEDs monitor power, signal, and clipping are also part of its design.
Subwoofer/Satellite crossover built-in is another remarkable feature plus it has a minimum depth chassis that can make it fit easily in compact, inexpensive effect racks.
Its output features include a Speakon® combo that accepts 1/4-inch (TS) plugs or Speakon 2- and 4-pole plugs (connects 2 poles only).
Also, binding posts support all other speaker wiring systems. While its input features include an XLR, 1/4-inch TRS and phono input connectors for compatibility with any source.
Furthermore, it also has detented gain controls for precise setting and matching of sensitivity.
The GX7 also adds the road-proven PowerLight supply to the Class H output section, for more overall output power and additional weight savings. The result is one of the highest power-to-weight ratios in the industry. A low-noise variable-speed fan with rear-to-front airflow keeps amplifiers and racks cool.
